The above vacancies are now in existence. The Ranked List published as per this notification will be valid until candidates are advised and appointed against the above vacancies earmarked for
Viswakarma & SIUC N/AI Community, but remain unfilled due to the paucity of candidates during the currency of the Ranked List published on 15.12.2009 for the post.
5 Method of appointment : Direct Recruitment (from among Viswakarma & SIUC N/AI Communities only)
Note:- The application submitted by candidates other than Viswakarma & SIUC N/AI Community will be summarily rejected. No rejection memo will be issued to these candidates.
6 Age limit :
19-39. Only candidates born between 02.01.1975 and 01.01.1995 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post.
7 Qualifications :
1) Literacy in Malayalam or Tamil or Kannada
2) Possession of current Boat Lascar's License.
Note: Candidate shall possess a current Lascar's license throughout all the stages of selection process as on the last date of application, OMR Test, Practical Test, Interview etc.
Probation: Every person appointed to this post shall from the date on which he joins duty be on probation for a total period of two years on duty within a continuous period of three years.
8. Method of submitting applications :-
Before applying for the post, Candidates should register as per 'ONE TIME REGISTRATION ' scheme through the Official Website of Kerala Public Service Commission 'www.keralapsc.gov.in' . Those who have already registered can apply by logging into their profile using his/her User- ID and password. No application fee is required. Candidates can view,
rectify defects and print the details in the Registration Card by clicking the link Registration Card after entering the home page. Candidates are responsible to ensure correctness of the personal information and secrecy of password and they shall quote the user ID for further communications with the Commission. At any stage of the selection process applications which are submitted not in accordance with the instructions given in the website, will be summarily rejected. Documents to prove qualification, age, community, etc have to be produced as and when called for.
